Chateau

The interior of the Chateau de Val is every bit as impressive at the exterior . The chateau is 20 minutes drive from Plantades.

Walking

The area is superb for walking with a good variety of walks in wooded valleys and gorges.

There are waymarked walking routes available from the Tourist Information centre. One of these 'petite randonnee' runs through the hamlet of Plantades.

As with any walk, finding the route can sometimes lead to a difference of opinion in your group!
